A striking blend of romantic European revival style and bold decorative impact, this impressive gilt framed oval porcelain platter is lavishly embellished with 22-karat gold detailing with a central classical vignette of two elegantly draped figures with cherub in a pastoral setting encircled by cobalt banding.

While the porcelain originates from a mid-late 20th-century American atelier as stamped on reverse, the dramatic acanthus-carved frame transforms the piece into a statement decorative object. The scale, depth, and luminous gold finish give it true presence—ideal for traditional, French-inspired, or Hollywood Regency interiors.
